Administrative Assistant – Curriculum Team

The Role

The role of Administrative Assistant belongs to the Curriculum team in the Teaching and Learning directorate. We have 5 office campuses across the state and this role will be based at our West Leederville office.

 

We are seeking a maximum term part-time 0.6FTE Administrative Assistant commencing as soon as possible and concluding 31 December 2026.

 

The Administrative Assistant is to provide high quality administrative support to the Teaching and Learning Directorate

 

The Primary accountabilities of this role include but and not limited to:

  • Provide high quality administrative support to Team Leaders and Teaching and Learning staff.
  • Provide cross-team administrative support as required.
  • Perform administrative tasks associated with professional development days and conferences, including the invoicing of participants.
  • Prepare and format documents including letters, reports and spreadsheets with adherence to the Teaching and Learning formatting requirements.
  • Assist with team financial operations including purchases, invoices and budgets.
  • Maintain databases, SharePoint sites and contact lists.
  • Data entry of confidential funding and student records as required.
  • Assist with travel and accommodation enquiries and requests.

Selection Criteria

 

A. ESSENTIAL: 

  1. Prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties.
  2. Demonstrated experience in providing high quality administrative support.
  3. High level interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise initiative and problem solve.
  4. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  5. Advanced computer and digital skills (including MS Office).
  6. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently.
  9. A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with a willingness to assist with various tasks as required.
  10. A collaborative team member with a proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
