We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behaviour Support Consultant to promote environments where every student feels safe, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. In this essential role, you will support students who are disengaged from learning or experiencing complex and challenging behaviours, helping to create spaces where all students can flourish.

 

This is a full-time ongoing position commencing as soon as possible based at St Catherine's Centre in Doubleview.

  • Salary range for this position is J1 to J4 on the CEO salary scale ($126, 288 - $141, 406 full time per annum) plus superannuation.

About you? 

 

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of current research and interventions relevant to student behaviour within a school context 
  • Ability to implement a multi-tiered system of support in relation to student behaviour 
  • Ability to identify, assess and develop interventions that support students with complex and/or challenging behaviour
  • Ability to provide consultation services, including advice and support to principals, teachers, parents and other stakeholders 
  • Ability to develop and deliver professional learning, assist with policy development and support organisational change 
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain strong professional relationships with school staff, parents and stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate and work both as a member of a team and independently
  • Demonstrated high quality written skills (including case notes) and competence in the use of information and communication technologies
