The Role

The role of Business Analyst belongs to the Business Development team in the Office of the Executive Director. We have 5 office campuses across the state and this role will be based at our West Leederville office.

This is a full-time ongoing position commencing as soon as possible.

The role of Business Analyst will take a crucial role in helping drive innovation within and across CEWA.  Leveraging data, technology, and stakeholder insights to transform how CEWA delivers value to students and staff. The role will work across multidisciplinary teams to uncover opportunities, streamline operations, and drive strategic initiatives that make a real difference.  From designing smarter systems to influencing executive decisions, the work of this role will empower leaders, enhance experiences, and fuel continuous improvement.  The Business Analyst role will be involved in solving complex problems, thriving in a dynamic environment, and be part of a purpose-led team making a difference in scaling the organisation.

Selection Criteria

Essential:

  1. Ability to map and analyse current business processes to identify inefficiencies.
  2. Experience proposing and implementing process improvements to enhance scalability and productivity.
  3. Demonstrated success in translating business goals into system specifications and supporting solution development
  4. Experience with change management frameworks and supporting organisational transformation.
  5. Competence in creating dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or SQL.
  6. Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage cross-functional teams and support change initiatives.
  7. Bachelor degree or above in qualifications in Commerce, Business, Information Technology, Data Analytics or other related fields.

 

Highly Desirable:

  1. Demonstrable experience in a similar position in the education, not-for-profit or government sector.
  2. Experience working in agile environments and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
