The Role
The role of Business Intelligence Analyst belongs to the Business Development team in the Office of the Executive Director. We have 5 office campuses across the state and this role will be based at our West Leederville office.
This is a full-time ongoing position commencing as soon as possible.
The Business Intelligence Analyst plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across CEWA. This position is ideal for a strategic and detail-oriented professional. The role designs interactive dashboards, conduct in-depth research and analysis, and support key regulatory reporting requirements. Their work will directly influence CEWA’s strategic priorities and operational initiatives in education.

Selection Criteria
Essential:
- Proven experience in designing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct in-depth research and deliver evidence-based insights.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Commitment to maintaining high data quality, integrity, and comprehensive documentation of data sources and processes.
- Familiarity with data governance principles, including data stewardship, security, and ethical data use.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills able to translate data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities and contribute to strategic and operational decision-making.
- Bachelor degree or above in qualifications in Commerce, Business, Information Technology, Data Analytics or Business Analytics or other related fields.
Highly Desirable:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar position in the education, not-for-profit or government sector.
- Experience working in agile environments and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams
