The Role

The role of Business Intelligence Analyst belongs to the Business Development team in the Office of the Executive Director. We have 5 office campuses across the state and this role will be based at our West Leederville office.

This is a full-time ongoing position commencing as soon as possible.

The Business Intelligence Analyst plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across CEWA. This position is ideal for a strategic and detail-oriented professional.  The role designs interactive dashboards, conduct in-depth research and analysis, and support key regulatory reporting requirements. Their work will directly influence CEWA’s strategic priorities and operational initiatives in education.

Selection Criteria

Essential:

1. Proven experience in designing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar BI tools.
2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct in-depth research and deliver evidence-based insights.
3. Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate complex data into actionable insights.
4. Commitment to maintaining high data quality, integrity, and comprehensive documentation of data sources and processes.
5. Familiarity with data governance principles, including data stewardship, security, and ethical data use.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills able to translate data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
7. Capacity to manage multiple priorities and contribute to strategic and operational decision-making.
8. Bachelor degree or above in qualifications in Commerce, Business, Information Technology, Data Analytics or Business Analytics or other related fields.

Highly Desirable:

1. Demonstrable experience in a similar position in the education, not-for-profit or government sector.
2. Experience working in agile environments and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams
