We are seeking a highly skilled Career Development Consultant to join the Curriculum Team. The Curriculum Team is an exciting and innovative team with a system-wide approach and proactively supports teachers and leaders within the system.
This is a full time fixed term (due to funding) position commencing as soon as possible and concluding 31 December 2026.
What you will be doing?
This role is responsible for providing leadership and support to teachers in Catholic Schools in Western Australia in the area of Career development.
Your Background
- Prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties.
- Commitment to CEWA’s Vision for Learning.
- Teaching and Career development qualifications with school-based experience.
- A history of exemplary teaching and Career development coordination.
- Excellent knowledge of current issues and research in Career development.
- High level organisational skills, well developed oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively as part of a team within and external to CEWA.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability and experience to enthuse and motivate others.
- Ability to show initiative and be proactive.
- Ability to coordinate career development from a system perspective to keep schools informed of immediate and current opportunities.
- Highly developed skills in digital technologies.
- Current TRBWA registration and Working with Children Check.
- A willingness to travel to and work in regional and remote locations.
