We're seeking a D365 F&O Functional Consultant to join our Digital Technology team within the Finance, Infrastructure and Digital Technology.
The D365 F&O Functional Consultant plays a critical role in supporting and enhancing CEWA’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform and connected enterprise systems, ensuring reliable and effective financial and operational business processes across the organisation.
This is a 1.0FTE ongoing position.

About the Role
Working within the Digital Technology team, you will closely work with Support Specialists, developers, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors as a key subject matter expert and Level 3 escalation point across CEWA’s digital ecosystem, including integrations with Workday HR and Zycus Procurement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as the Level 3 escalation point for F&O-related support issues unresolved by Support Specialists, including integrations with third-party systems (e.g. Workday, Zycus). [Key responsibility]
- Support the administration and configuration of integrated enterprise systems such as Workday HR and Zycus Procurement.
- Perform functional configuration within Dynamics 365 F&O to support evolving business requirements. [Key responsibility]
- Translate business requirements into clear, testable user stories for development prioritisation.
- Collaborate with F&O developers, third-party vendors and integration teams to clarify requirements and validate solutions.
About You
You are an experienced D365 F&O Functional Consultant who has demonstrated experience supporting and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
Essential requirements:
- Prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties.
- Demonstrated experience supporting and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Proven ability to perform regression testing and validate system updates and integrations.
- Experience managing and maintaining reference data such as Chart of Accounts, and financial dimensions.
- Strong skills in resolving complex support requests within agreed timeframes, particularly for finance and operations processes.
- Ability to translate business requirements into user stories and collaborate with developers and thirdparty vendors during sprint cycles.
Highly desirable:
- Experience working with or supporting education organisations.
- Experience in support service delivery.
- Current Microsoft Certifications.
