Internal Job Opportunity: Lead Psychologist 

 

We are excited to announce an internal promotion opportunity for the position of Lead Psychologist. This role is crucial for the formation, ongoing development, and management of the CEWA Psychology, Safety, and Wellbeing Team. The Lead Psychologist will provide managerial and professional practice oversight for our team of psychologists, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our schools.

 

We are seeking internal applications for the full-time ongoing position commencing 20 January 2025 based at St Catherine’s Centre in Doubleview. This is a unique opportunity for a qualified and experienced psychologist within our community to step into a leadership role and contribute meaningfully to the wellbeing of our students and school communities.

  • Salary range for this position is K1 to K4 on the CEO salary scale ($143, 218 - $156, 367 per annum) plus superannuation

About you? 

  • Eligibility for full registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Prepared to support to the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties.
  • Demonstrated exemplary skills and leadership in the provision of contemporary psychological practices within schools.
  • Demonstrated ability to line manage staff and support the professional growth and development of others.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the development and implementation of appropriate programs, interventions and evaluations at the school community, network, regional and systemic level
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and respond to complex issues and serious incidents.
  • Ability to contribute to psychology team and system-level understandings and decision making.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a highly productive environment as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated leadership and engagement in a variety of professional activities that indicate critical self-reflection, flexibility and adaptability.
  • Demonstrated high quality written skills and competence in the use of information and communication technologies.
