We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Literacy Leader to provide leadership and build the capacity of teachers and school leaders across Catholic schools in the Bunbury Diocese. This pivotal role focuses on driving improvement in Literacy education, supporting schools in delivering outstanding learning outcomes for all students.
This is a full-time ongoing position based in Bunbury commencing 1 January 2025 (or negotiable with the successful candidate).

- Salary range for this position is J1 to J4 on the CEO salary scale ($126, 288 - $141, 406 per annum) plus superannuation.

About you?
- Commitment to CEWAs Vision for Learning, Literacy Position Statement and Literacy Frameworks.
- Knowledge and understanding of pedagogical practice in Literacy.
- Recent school-based experience with a history of exemplary teaching in Literacy.
- Excellent knowledge of current issues, initiatives and research in Literacy.
- Excellent practical and theoretical experience with data analysis.
- Capacity to work with school leaders and teachers in the area of Literacy.
- Highly developed organisational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to show initiative and be proactive.
- Highly developed skills in digital technologies.
- Experience in delivering quality professional learning.
- Capacity to develop and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Capacity to work as a positive and supportive member of the Bunbury Regional Office Team.
- Current TRBWA and Working with Children Check.
- A willingness to travel to and work in regional locations.
