Are you passionate about fostering excellence in education and empowering others to achieve their full potential?
We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Literacy Coordinator to provide leadership and build the capacity of teachers and school leaders in Catholic schools right across Western Australia. This pivotal role focuses on driving improvement in Literacy education, supporting schools in delivering outstanding learning outcomes for all students.
This is a full-time ongoing position based at our West Leederville office, commencing 5 January 2026 (or negotiation with the successful candidate).

- Salary range for this position is K1 to K4 on the CEO salary scale ($148, 947 to $162, 622) per annum) plus superannuation.

About you?
- Commitment to CEWAs Vision for Learning and Literacy Frameworks.
- Comprehensive knowledge of effective pedagogical practices in Literacy, with the capacity to model and support evidence-based teaching strategies.
- Recent and relevant school-based experience, showcasing a strong track record of leading and improving Literacy teaching and learning.
- Expertise in current Literacy issues, initiatives, and research, with the ability to translate theory into impactful classroom practice.
- Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated experience in interpreting and applying data to inform Literacy instruction and school improvement.
- Highly developed organisational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to show initiative and be proactive.
- Highly developed skills in digital technologies.
- Experience in delivering quality professional learning.
- Capacity to develop and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Current TRBWA and Working with Children Check.
- A willingness to travel to and work in regional and remote locations.
