The Team


The Marketing and Communications Team is responsible for leading and managing the strategic development and implementation of communications, media and marketing for Catholic Education Western Australia (CEWA) as well as providing support and direction to schools and colleges in relation to their communications and marketing.



The Role


This role will be accountable for planning and co-ordination of events as well as supporting the Marketing and Communications team to deliver community engagement initiatives.    


Key responsibilities for this role include: 


Plan, manage, facilitate and promote events, including:

  • Event concept development
  • Event promotion and communications
  • Attendee liaison and engagement
  • Design and production co-ordination of invitations, signage and material
  • Sponsorship co-ordination as required
  • Working with internal stakeholders to maximise the organisation’s sponsorship investment
  • Centralised co-ordination of project plans, workflows and reports
  • Budget planning and administration


Your Background


  • Demonstrated prior experience organising a program of events and conferences from concept to completion.
  • Commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of event planning processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skill, with attention to detail.
  • Creative and agile thinker with ability to respond to changing situations.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and relate to a diverse group of people.
