About the Role

Full-time ongoing opportunity for a skilled Information Management Officer within the Education sector!

Supporting the Records, Information and Library Services team, you will make a critical contribution to the effective operation of Catholic Education Western Australia (CEWA) by providing administrative support to the Governance and Records functions. You will assist with records management, including processing incoming records, managing paper and digital records, archiving, disposal and Requests for Information (RFI). 

We are looking for a full-time Information Management Officer who is a self-starter with a passion for records. This exciting opportunity will suit someone who has aspirations to grow and develop within the Education sector. Your outstanding administration skills, amazing ability to multi-task and prioritise, and excellent organisational and people skills will equip you for success in this role at CEWA.


What you’ll be doing
•    Administration and support of Content Manager. 
•    Deliver Content Manager training and development of online training materials.
•    Respond to requests for information (RFI) in alignment with laws governing the access and disclosure of information, particularly the Privacy Act 1988. 
•    Identify and retrieve records and information stored across multiple platforms and sites. 
•    Collaborate Records, Information and Library Services team to deliver effective records and information management systems and processes for CEWA. 
•    Adhere to best practice records management policies and standards and advise CEWA staff.
•    Assist the team with the implementation of record keeping projects.

Your Contribution
•    Experience working in an electronic document, records or information management environment
•    Experience with recordkeeping software Content Manager (Trim), SharePoint, etc. 
•    Experience in Records Management and complex record retrieval
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to be clear and concise in demanding situations
•    Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams to deliver successful outcomes
•    Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritise complex and sometimes conflicting demands and show initiative
•    Confident MS Office Suite skills including – MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
