The Team

 

The Planning and Capital Development Team has assisted the WA Catholic System to develop its presence across the growth areas of the State with award-winning facilities.

 

The team partners with schools for the development, improvement and financing of these facilities through mechanisms of financial co-responsibility. This position will allow you to work with some of the best technical experts in the industry and will enable you to make a significant contribution to the education sector.

 

The Role

This is a full-time maximum term position commencing as soon as practicable and concluding 31 December 2021.

 

Key responsibilities for this role include: 

 

  • Supports the Planning and Capital Development Team in following up the Catholic Education      Western Australia (CEWA) Ltd Asbestos Management Plan.
  • Supports the Planning and Capital Development Team in following up school Bush Fire Plans.
  • Supports the Planning and Capital Development Team in the rollout and implementation of the Schools at Capital Risk plan.
  • Assisting with the planning, development, and execution of school maintenance plans.
  • Preparing correspondence relating to capital development projects.
  • Accurately maintaining and updating the information database which captures the project status.
  • Where appropriate, attend meetings internally and externally to ensure that any relevant issues, relating to capital projects are identified, reported, and actioned, as appropriate.

 

Your Background

 

  • High-level communicator (verbal and written) with experience in communicating with internal and external stakeholders (at all levels).
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise work, manage multiple tasks concurrently, take initiative and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with a team to meet overall team objectives.
  • High-level interpersonal skills and commitment to providing high quality customer services.
  • Advanced skill and knowledge Microsoft Office applications including  Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • The ability to travel to various schools – driver’s licence is required.
