The Executive Director of Catholic Education Western Australia Limited (CEWA) invites applications for the Principalship role at Holy Rosary School based in Doubleview commencing 1 January 2027 (or negotiable with the Executive Director).
School Profile
Holy Rosary School, Doubleview is a vibrant, faith-filled Catholic primary school catering for students from Three-Year-Old Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six. Situated on the leafy hill of Doubleview and forming part of the Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, the school is recognised for its welcoming community, strong Catholic identity, and commitment to nurturing the unique gifts and potential of every child.
Established in 1959, Holy Rosary has a proud history of providing high-quality Catholic education and continues to enjoy strong support from families, parishioners and the wider community. Guided by the Dominican tradition of Truth, Love and Knowledge and inspired by its motto, Veritas (Truth), the school fosters a culture where faith is lived authentically through the Making Jesus Real philosophy, encouraging students to bring the teachings of Jesus into their everyday interactions and relationships.
At Holy Rosary, learning is centred on exploration, imagination and investigation. Through a play-based and inquiry-focused approach in the early years, alongside evidence-informed teaching practices and differentiated learning throughout the school, students are challenged and supported to achieve their personal best. A strong focus on Literacy, Mathematics and problem-solving is complemented by specialist programs in Science, Italian, Music and Physical Education, as well as a range of enriching co-curricular opportunities including sport, choir, dance and academic clubs.
A defining strength of the school is its commitment to inclusive education through the Siena Centre, a specialised facility supporting students with a range of disabilities. Staffed by highly skilled and dedicated teachers and education assistants, the Siena Centre provides individualised programs while ensuring students remain connected to their mainstream classes and peers. This model reflects Holy Rosary's belief that every child is valued, known and supported to flourish within a genuinely inclusive learning community.
The school's contemporary facilities, including nature playgrounds, vibrant learning spaces, extensive technology programs and engaging outdoor environments, enhance opportunities for creativity, collaboration and student wellbeing. Supported by a highly engaged Parents and Friends Association and strong parish connections, Holy Rosary enjoys a culture of partnership, belonging and service.
