• Demonstrated commitment to leading and strengthening Catholic Identity through authentic faith leadership, the Mercy charism, and the integration of Gospel values across all aspects of school life.
• Demonstrated capacity to nurture the faith development of students and staff through prayer, liturgy, formation opportunities, evangelisation, and authentic partnerships with the parish and wider Catholic community.

Education

• Demonstrated capacity to lead high-quality teaching and learning through strategic educational leadership, curriculum improvement, and the development of a culture of professional growth and excellence.
• Proven ability to improve student growth, achievement and wellbeing through evidence-informed practice, effective use of data, and a commitment to inclusive education that meets the needs of all learners.

Community

• Proven ability to foster a connected and inclusive school community through visible and authentic leadership and effective communication, fostering positive relationships with students, staff and families.
• Demonstrated commitment to strengthening partnerships with the parish and broader community, promoting meaningful and positive engagement.

Stewardship

• Demonstrated capacity to lead the effective stewardship of people, resources and finances, ensuring strategic decision-making supports student learning, wellbeing and long-term school improvement.
• Proven ability to develop staff capability and wellbeing, build leadership capacity, and foster a sustainable organisational culture that promotes excellence, accountability and continuous improvement.

Selection Criteria:

• Practising Catholic and experienced educator committed to Catholic Education.
• Accredited for Leadership of a Catholic School Community or equivalent.
• A collaborative and future-focused leader who understands and supports the strategic priorities of the broader Catholic Education system. 
• A relevant Master’s degree (or working towards completion) with the ability to apply advanced leadership and management principles to both the day-to-day and long-term leadership of a school is highly desirable.
• Current Teacher Registration for Western Australia (TRBWA).
• Current Working with Children Check (WA WWCC) or the ability to obtain one.
