The Executive Director of Catholic Education Western Australia Limited (CEWA) invites applications for the Principalship role at Prendiville Catholic College based in Ocean Reef commencing 1 January 2027.

Prendiville Catholic College is a contemporary co‑educational Catholic secondary school located in Ocean Reef, proudly serving students from Years 7 to 12. Established by the Archdiocese in 1986, the College is grounded in its motto Christus Pastor Meus – Christ My Shepherd, which shapes a community where every student feels Safe, Happy, Included and Respected – known as The Prendiville Way.

• Strengthens Catholic faith formation and mission by fostering meaningful prayer, liturgy, service and justice initiatives that engage students, staff and families, and nurture strong connections with the parish community.

• Provides strong, evidence-informed educational leadership that ensures consistency and quality in teaching and learning, supports staff growth, and balances high expectations with inclusive practice to meet the needs of all learners. 

• Champions a broad, contemporary and future-focused curriculum that values diverse academic and vocational pathways, supports senior student retention, and responds to evolving student aspirations and community needs. 

Community  

• Leads through relational, visible and servant leadership that fosters trust, clarity and collaboration, strengthens the College’s strong pastoral culture, and builds respectful, authentic partnerships with staff, students, families and community stakeholders.

Selection Criteria: 

• Practising Catholic and experienced educator committed to Catholic Education. 

• Accredited for Leadership of a Catholic School Community or equivalent. 

• A collaborative and future focused leader who understands and supports the strategic priorities of the broader Catholic Education system.  

• A relevant Master’s degree (or working towards completion) with the ability to apply advanced leadership and management principles to both the day-to-day and long term leadership of a school is highly desirable. 

• Current Teacher Registration for Western Australia (TRBWA). 

• Current WA Working with Children Check (WA WWCC).
