• Demonstrated commitment to the Catholic faith, actively modelling Gospel values and strengthening connections between the school, parish, and wider Catholic community.
• Demonstrated ability to foster the Catholic identity of the school through faith formation, pastoral care, and an inclusive culture that respects diverse faith backgrounds.

Education

• Demonstrated ability to lead high-quality, student-centred learning, supporting diverse needs through effective use of Students with Disability (SWD), Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD), and Individual Education Plan (IEP) processes, intervention strategies, and evidence-based practice.
• Demonstrated capacity to lead consistent and flexible curriculum delivery, with a strong understanding of Early Childhood education, effective integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
• Demonstrated ability to foster a professional learning community that promotes collaboration, reflective practice, and shared accountability for student learning.

Community 

• Demonstrated ability to build strong, inclusive relationships with families, parish, and the wider community, including respectful engagement with First Nations families, fostering a sense of belonging, pride, and positive school culture.
• Demonstrated commitment to active engagement in parish and community life, effectively representing the school and contributing to the long-term growth and connectedness of the Moora community.

Stewardship 

• Demonstrated ability to provide strategic, values-based leadership that advances the school’s vision, strengthens pastoral care, and supports effective decision-making in the best interests of students, staff, and school improvement.
• Demonstrated capacity to build a fair, inclusive, and high-functioning school culture by supporting staff growth, developing leadership capability, and modelling professional and positive leadership within the school.

Selection Criteria:

• Practising Catholic and experienced educator committed to Catholic Education.
• Accredited for Leadership of a Catholic School Community or equivalent.
• A collaborative and future-focused leader who understands and supports the strategic priorities of the broader Catholic Education system. 
• A relevant Master’s degree (or working towards completion) with the ability to apply advanced leadership and management principles to both the day-to-day and long-term leadership of a school is highly desirable.
• Current Teacher Registration for Western Australia (TRBWA).
• Current WA Working with Children Check (WA WWCC).
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of First Nations education, cultural responsiveness, and respectful engagement with First Nations students, families, and communities in a school context.
