The Executive Director of Catholic Education Western Australia Limited (CEWA) invites applications for the Principalship of St Joseph's School in Queens Park, commencing in Term 3, 2026.
School Profile
St Joseph’s School, Queens Park, is a double‑stream Catholic primary school of around 500 students from Pre‑Kindergarten to Year 6. Founded in 1915 by the Mercy Sisters, the school maintains a strong Mercy tradition grounded in Gospel values such as justice, compassion, tolerance, peace and forgiveness. The Making Jesus Real (MJR) philosophy is embedded across all year levels, supported by a rich liturgical life and close connections with the parish and St Norbert College.
The school offers modern, high‑quality facilities following a major rebuild, providing contemporary learning environments that support a broad curriculum, including literacy, numeracy, STEM extension, and specialist programs in Performing Arts, Physical Education, Japanese, Library, Science and Visual Arts. Students also benefit from extensive co‑curricular opportunities such as swimming, athletics, choirs, dance, and a Year 5 instrumental music program.

Selection Criteria:
- Practising Catholic and experienced educator committed to Catholic Education.
- Accredited for Leadership of a Catholic School Community or equivalent.
- A collaborative and future-focused leader who understands and supports the strategic priorities of the broader Catholic Education system.
- A relevant Master’s degree (or working towards completion) with the ability to apply advanced leadership and management principles to both the day-to-day and long-term leadership of a school is highly desirable.
- Current Teacher Registration for Western Australia (TRBWA).
- Current WA Working with Children Check (WA WWCC).
