School Profile

St Paul’s Catholic Primary School, Mount Lawley is a co-educational Catholic primary school catering for students from Three-Year-Old Kindergarten to Year 6. Established in 1929 by the Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions, the school is a vibrant inner-city learning community inspired by their vision and the teachings of St Paul.

Guided by its motto, "From Darkness to Light," St Paul's is committed to nurturing faith-filled, confident and compassionate learners. The school's EPIC values of Excellence, Perseverance, Integrity and being Christ-Centred are at the heart of its culture and relationships.

Students are supported through a strong academic and enrichment program, targeted intervention initiatives, and comprehensive pastoral care that promotes wellbeing and belonging. Specialist learning opportunities include Physical Education, Music, Science, Italian, Visual Arts and Edu-Dance, complemented by a wide range of academic, cultural and sporting experiences. Digital technologies are embedded across the curriculum, including a one-to-one device program for students in Years 4 to 6.

Selection Criteria:

• Practising Catholic and experienced educator committed to Catholic Education.
• Accredited for Leadership of a Catholic School Community or equivalent.
• A collaborative and future-focused leader who understands and supports the strategic priorities of the broader Catholic Education system. 
• A relevant Master’s degree (or working towards completion) with the ability to apply advanced leadership and management principles to both the day-to-day and long-term leadership of a school is highly desirable.
• Current Teacher Registration for Western Australia (TRBWA).
• Current WA Working with Children Check (WA WWCC).
