We are in search of passionate qualified teachers who are eager to embrace the unique journey of learning, living, and contributing to the vibrant Catholic school communities nestled within the stunning Kimberley region of Western Australia. CEWA's greatest need is for Early Childhood and Primary teachers, and Secondary specialist teachers in the fields of Physical Education, Art, Design Technology, Music or Home Economics. Successful applicants require a degree in Education and registration with the TRBWA and availability to work short contracts of ten weeks, being one school Term (or more if desired) - travel the Kimberley on us and experience working in multiple destinations term by term.

From this pool, Principals will directly appoint outstanding individuals for their unique small schools and culturally rich communities.

 

Benefits include:

 

  • Relocation travel from any major Australian city including flights and vehicle transportation paid by CEWA 

  • Housing provided by CEWA at capped low percentage of salary or completely free (depending on which school destination)

  • Location allowance paid per fortnight

  • Regional annual bonus (pro rata for teachers working term by term)

  • Air conditioning reimbursement paid per fortnight

  • Electricity cover for higher than average costs paid by CEWA

  • Friday early classroom finish 12:30pm every week *applicable to selected desert schools

  • 4 x days additional accrued leave to extend long weekends throughout the year and support your personal travel adventures during your stay *applicable to selected desert schools

  • Small class sizes

  • First Nations Teaching Assistant assigned to every class
     

Renumeration

 

  • $88,785 - $132,585 per annum + Superannuation 11% pro rata
  • Annual bonus $5,000 - $20,000 pro rata
  • Location allowance $3,534 - $10,786 per annum pro rata
  • Airconditioning and Electricity reimbursements additional to above, paid fortnightly

Requirements:
