We are inviting expressions of interest for the short-term principalship at St Paul’s Primary School, Mount Lawley commencing 20 April 2026 (Term 2) to 31 December 2026 (Term 4) for a leave replacement.

Selection Criteria

 

To be considered for this unique leadership opportunity, candidates must be practising Catholics and highly experienced educators committed to the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.

 

  • A minimum four-year tertiary qualification (progress towards a master’s degree or higher is advantageous).
  • Accreditation to Lead.
  • Current TRBWA and Working with Children requirements.
  • Leads teaching and learning with a clear vision, inspiring continuous improvement and innovation in educational practice
  • Demonstrates a strong capacity to build positive, trusting and collaborative relationships with staff, students, parents, parish and the wider community.
  • Demonstrates resilience and adaptability, leading effectively through change and complexity.
  • Current or prior experience as a short-term principal or substantive principal is highly desirable.
