The Role

The role of Talent Administrator sits within the Human Resources team in the People and Culture directorate and is accountable to the Coordinator Talent Attraction, Recruitment and Retention. This position is based at our West Leederville office, working alongside a collaborative and high performing HR team.

 

This is a full time position commencing as soon as possible.

 

The Talent Administrator provides essential administrative, recruitment and compliance support across the Talent and broader HR function. The role is central to ensuring recruitment processes run smoothly, candidate documentation is accurate and compliant, and our digital systems are well maintained.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating recruitment logistics including interview scheduling, panel documentation and candidate communication
  • Preparing employment contracts and onboarding documentation
  • Verifying work rights, visas and employment compliance requirements
  • Maintaining personnel files and HR registers
  • Managing and uploading job advertisements
  • Supporting principal recruitment and leave processes
  • Monitoring shared inboxes and triaging enquiries
  • Assisting with HR reporting, digital systems and database accuracy
  • Providing leave cover and broader administrative support across the HR team

Selection Criteria

 

Essential

  • Prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of all duties
  • Previous administrative experience with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines with accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated discretion and ability to manage confidential information
  • High level customer service skills with sound judgement and problem solving capability
  • Confidence using multiple digital platforms, including intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures and compliance requirements
  • Strong attention to detail, accurate data entry skills and experience coordinating logistics such as interviews, calendars and travel

 

Desirable

  • Experience in recruitment or human resources, including preparing recruitment documentation or employment contracts
  • Understanding of the education sector and school environments
  • Experience using HRIS or electronic records management systems
  • Knowledge of employment compliance requirements such as work rights and onboarding processes
  • Familiarity with working in a Catholic organisation or large, complex organisation
