The Role

The role of Talent Advisor belongs to the Human Resources team in the People and Culture directorate. We have 5 office campuses across the state and this role will be based at our West Leederville Office.

 

This is a full-time, ongoing position commencing as soon as practically possible.

 

As Talent Advisor, you will provide holistic talent advice to leaders, proactively sources candidates and leads talent activities across CEWA. This includes attraction, engagement, selection, and assessment of high calibre candidates into CEWA Office, whilst providing Hiring Managers insights on best practice and market insights to make hiring decisions. As the first point of contact for candidates seeking opportunities in the organisation, you will promote CEWA and the opportunities CEWA offers whilst providing a great candidate experience throughout the talent journey. Leveraging technology to enable you to work effectively in your role, you will seek out improvement and innovation to deliver effective and timely talent solutions that respond to workforce demand.

 

PRIMARY

The primary accountabilities for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Build and sustain customer focused relationships with candidates, hiring managers and employees to establish and maintain internal and external talent pools.
  • Foster collaborative decision making and hiring decisions that result in hiring outcomes that align to CEWA values.
  • Proactively lead talent activities with timely and meaningful updates.
  • Take responsibility to have crucial conversations with Hiring Managers and stakeholders with the ability to influence decision makers with insights and recommendations.
  • Effectively share best practice and talent pool information with the wider Human Resources team whilst creating positive experiences with all interactions (internal and external).
  • Demonstrates sourcing thinking through effective use of technology, databases, proactive talent sourcing including Boolean searches to create, build and maintain talent pipelines (including but not limited to; Success Factors, LinkedIn, SEEK Talent Search).
  • Ability to leverage understanding of Catholic Education and external market knowledge in accessing and attracting talent.
