We are seeking a Technology Consultant to join the Digital Technology Team within our Finance, Infrastructure and Digital Technology Directorate.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of technology across a statewide education system. Working closely with schools, technical teams and external partners, you will help deliver innovative, secure and sustainable digital solutions that enhance teaching, learning and school operations. Your expertise will support schools to confidently adopt technology, improve digital capability and realise the benefits of CEWA's digital transformation strategy.

 

This is a full-time ongoing position.

About the Role

 

Working within the Digital Technology team, you will provide expert advice and support to schools as they adopt and optimise technology solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders across CEWA to ensure technology services are practical, scalable and aligned to educational and operational needs.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Partner with schools to implement and maximise the value of technology solutions and services
  • Provide strategic advice on technology adoption, integration and best practice
  • Assess business requirements and recommend fit-for-purpose digital solutions
  • Support system-wide digital transformation initiatives and service improvements
  • Build technology capability across schools through consultation, guidance and training
  • Promote compliance, standardisation and secure technology practices across the CEWA network

 

About You

 

You are a collaborative technology professional who enjoys solving complex problems and helping others embrace digital change. You can translate technical concepts into practical outcomes and bring strong stakeholder engagement skills, enabling you to build trusted relationships across diverse environments.

 

Essential requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience in technology consulting, systems implementation, software development or systems integration
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, enterprise systems and technology architecture
  • Demonstrated experience managing or contributing to technology projects
  • Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of your duties

 

Highly regarded:

 

  • Experience within the education sector
  • Microsoft or other relevant industry certifications
  • Experience in digital transformation, enterprise architecture or project delivery
