We are seeking a highly skilled Early Years Consultant to join the Curriculum Team. The Curriculum Team is an exciting and innovative team with a system-wide approach and proactively supports teachers and leaders within the system. What you will be doing?


This role is responsible for providing support and build capacity for school leaders and staff to understand and enhance the holistic development of children during their early years. This is a full-time two-year position commencing 1 January 2023 and concluding 31 December 2024. 


Applications are encouraged from existing CEWA school employees wishing to explore the option of a period of leave from their present position. 


Your Background


  • Commitment to CEWA’s Vision for Learning and Early Years Position Statement.
  • Knowledge and excellent understanding of pedagogical practice in the Early Years.
  • Recent school-based experience with a history of exemplary teaching in the Early Years.
  • Excellent knowledge of current issues, initiatives and research in the Early Years.
  • Excellent practical and theoretical experience with data analysis.
  • Highly developed organisational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Highly developed skills in digital technologies.
  • Experience in delivering quality professional learning.
  • Capacity to develop and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Current TRBWA registration and Working with Children Check.
  • A willingness to travel to and work in regional and remote locations.
