We are seeking a highly skilled Numeracy Consultant to join the Curriculum Team. The Curriculum Team is an exciting and innovative team with a system-wide approach and proactively supports teachers and leaders within the system. More information about the team is available here: Curriculum Team


What you will be doing? 

This role is responsible for providing support and building capacity of school leaders and staff in Catholic schools in the area of Numeracy and Mathematics.. This is a full-time five-year position commencing 1 January 2023 and concluding 31 December 2027. 


Your Background

  • Commitment to CEWAs Vision for Learning, Numeracy Position Statement and Numeracy Framework.
  • Knowledge and excellent understanding of pedagogical practice in Numeracy.
  • Recent school-based experience with a history of exemplary teaching in Numeracy.
  • Excellent knowledge of current issues, initiatives and research in Numeracy.
  • Excellent practical and theoretical experience with data analysis.
  • Capacity to work with school leaders and teachers in the area of Numeracy.
  • Highly developed organisational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Highly developed skills in digital technologies.
  • Experience in delivering quality professional learning.
  • Current TRBWA registration and Working with Children Check.
  • A willingness to travel to and work in regional and remote locations.
